Dubbing himself the 'GOAT' (Greatest Of All Time) of the show, Grover didn't hold back in taking a humorous dig at the falling TRPs of the ongoing Shark Tank season and playfully teasing Anupam Mittal.
At the Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology’s annual fest, Ashneer Grover brought the house down with his wit, labelling Anupam Mittal as the 'old man' and humorously remarking, "Mittal saab ki na umar ho rahi hai… Dusra, gussa wala chala gaya. Ye toh fact hain na (Mr Mittal is getting old… The angry one has left. That's a fact)." Grover playfully suggested that the remaining sharks are still in the 'auditioning' phase.
Unleashing his trademark humour, Ashneer Grover challenged the current sharks by urging them to check the TRP ratings of the first, second, and third seasons, declaring, "Jo pehle season mein chala gaya woh tha GOAT, aur tum sab teesre season mein bhi ‘audition’ hi kar rahe ho shark banne ki (The one who left was the GOAT, but you all are still auditioning to be the shark)." The crowd erupted in cheers, showcasing the widespread support for Grover's amusing take on the show's evolution.
This isn't the first time Ashneer has playfully criticized the ongoing season. In November, he hinted at the current season being an 'audition' for the Sharks of Shark Tank 4, emphasizing the importance of not changing something that's already solved.
