Congress stalwarts Ajay Maken, Dr Syed Naseer Hussain, and GC Chandrashekhar emerged victorious with 47, 46, and 46 votes respectively, as reported by ANI. Meanwhile, BJP's Narayana Bandage secured the lone saffron party seat, making the elections a captivating political showdown.
Expressing gratitude, Naseer Hussain, one of the winning Congress candidates, acknowledged the relentless efforts of party leaders, including Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, KC Venugopal, Randeep Surjewala, Siddaramaiah, and DK Shivakumar. He emphasized their strategic vigilance against opposition tactics, preventing any sway in the Congress MLAs.
